Ingredients
Prep
- 4 T water
- 2 T ketchup
- 1 T soy sauce
- 2 t cornstarch
- 1/2 t crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 t honey
- 1/4 t ground ginger
- 4 t minced garlic
- 1 1/2 lb raw peeled shrimp
On Cooking Day
- 2 t olive oil
- 2 pkg brown rice steamer
- 1/4 C fresh chopped green onions optional
Instructions
To Assemble
- In a bowl with lid, stir together first 8 ingredients.
- Place shrimp in a large zipper bag.
To Cook
- Add olive oil to skillet on medium heat. Add shrimp mixture to skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes (until shrimp begin to curl).
- Stir in sauce. Cook and stir until sauce is bubbly and thickened.
- Cook rice according to package directions. Serve over rice and top with green onions.
