O N E – P A N! ONE PAN! ONE PAN! We cannot get enough of these one pan dinners. So quick and easy. Oh ya, One Pan Balsamic Chicken and Broccoli!! Simple, Fast, Easy!!
If you have humans in your house that refuse to let their food touch each other, then mix up your sauce in a small bowl and toss one item (chicken, broccoli, carrots) at a time in the bag with a little sauce. Pour it all onto the baking sheet in rows…..non touching rows. Heaven forbid food touch. Do they know it all goes in their stomach and dances around with each other and has a big party? A big food mixing party? Oh, if they only knew.

Have I said that already? I mean pour the bag of our Balsamic Chicken and Broccoli out onto a pan and shove it in the oven. Set a timer and walk away. Go do a load of laundry, sweep the floor or have a glass of wine for goodness sake. Your feeding your family nutritious food, you deserve that wine… the whole friggin’ bottle if you want. Unless you still have carpool duties, then do laundry and enjoy that wine later. Safety over sanity here. Safety now, sanity later.
Seriously, it IS this easy. I mean, if you are not already using our meal plans, YOU SHOULD BE! They will save you 3-4 hours a week….plus your dishwasher needing to run every night….plus your sanity of having to figure out what is for dinner…One Pan Balsamic Chicken and Broccoli…plus you won’t have to write up a grocery list because we do that for you too. Oh and you know all that food you throw away because you don’t cook it in time or forget about it? Ya, we save the earth from more trash too. We are pretty darn fantastic……so we have been told….and not just by our moms.
Throw in some steamers rice (the kind that take a whole 90 seconds in the microwave) and you just made a whole foods/clean eating/gluten free/better than greasy drive thru tacos, MEAL. With vitamins and minerals and everything in this One Pan Balsamic Chicken and Broccoli feast!!
Servings: 4-6 |
Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
- 1/4 C balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 C honey
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 C shredded carrots
- 5 C broccoli florets
- 2 bag frozen rice steamer
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to large zipper bag (or bowl) and shake to mix well.
- Spray baking sheet with non stick spray or brush to coat with olive oil.
- Pour chicken mixture onto baking sheet.
- Roast in a 400 degree oven for 20 - 25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- Cook rice according to package directions.
