Comfort food at its finest. So yummy and super easy compared to the traditional way of making shepherd’s pie. In this slow cooker shepherds pie all you do is toss everything in the pot and let the slow cooker do all the work.

Ingredients
Prep
- 1 1/2 lb lean stew meat
- 1/2 C frozen chopped onion
- 2 C frozen peas and carrots
- 2 T flour
- 1 can canned organic beef broth
- 1/2 C tomato sauce
- 1 t Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
- 6 C salad greens
- 2 bag frozen mashed potato steamer
Instructions
To Assemble
- Mix all ingredients in large zipper bag. Zip to seal and squish around to mix.
To Cook
- Pour meat mixture into slow cooker. Cook on low 6 - 8 hours.
- Cook potatoes according to package directions and spread over meat mixture.
- Serve with green salad.
