Ingredients
Prep
- 1/2 C olive oil
- 1/2 C red wine vinegar
- 2 T onion flakes
- 2 T minced garlic
- 1/4 C fresh parsley chopped
- 1 t dried basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tomatoes extra large
- 1 1/2 lb sirloin steaks or any cut you prefer
On Cooking Day
- 1 pkg dinner rolls
- 10 C salad greens
Instructions
To Assemble
- Mix first 7 ingredients in a small bowl with lid and shake well.
- Slice tomatoes and place in a single layer in a container with a lid. Pour 1/4 of the dressing over tomatoes.
- Place steaks in a large zipper bag and add 1/4 of the dressing. Zip and shake.
- Reserve remaining dressing for serving over salad.
To Cook
- Grill steaks or broil until desired doneness.
- Serve salad with marinated tomatoes, sliced steak and dinner rolls.
