Ingredients
- 6 sirloin steaks or any cut you like (1 per person)
- pepper to taste
- 2 T olive oil
- 2 T butter
- 3/4 C red wine or beef stock
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- 1 bag steamers mashed potatoes
- 1 bag Caesar salad kit
Instructions
- Season steaks with pepper and cook in a skillet on medium high heat about 4 minutes on each side or until just before desired doneness.
- Top each steak with butter and let simmer until butter melts.
- Remove steaks from skillet and set aside.
- Add wine and mushrooms, scrapping bits of bottom of pan.
- Cook 5-7 minutes then replace steaks and spoon sauce over them.
- Cook potatoes according to package directions.
