Creamy Garlic Shrimp - C

Ingredients

Prep
  • 2 lb large raw peeled shrimp
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 t minced garlic
  • 1/2 C chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 C heavy cream
  • 1 T minced garlic
  • 2 t Italian seasoning
On Cooking Day
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 12 oz fettuccine
  • 6 C salad greens
  • 1/2 C fresh grated Romano cheese or Parmesan

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. In a large zipper bag, add first 3 ingredients. Zip to seal and squish around to mix.
  2. In a bowl with lid, add remaining ingredients.
To Cook
  1. Add oil to skillet and cook shrimp on medium heat for 4-5 minutes, or until shrimp turns pink and begins to curl.
  2. Remove shrimp and add prepped liquid mixture to skillet. Cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes, then add cheese. Stir until incorporated. Add shrimp back to skillet.
  3. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  4. Serve shrimp and sauce over pasta. Serve with side salad.
