Ingredients
Prep
- 2 lb lean stew meat
- 1 C frozen chopped onions
- 1 C frozen chopped bell peppers
- 14 oz canned pinto beans
- 1.25 oz chili seasoning packet
- 2 T minced garlic
- 1 C salsa
- 14 oz fire roasted tomatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
- 2 C beef broth
- 10 C salad greens
- 1 pkg Texas Toast
- 1 bag fritos corn chips optional
Instructions
To Assemble
- Add all ingredients to a large zipper bag. Zip and shake to mix.
To Cook
- Pour meat mixture into slow cooker along with beef broth. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- Cook Texas toast according to package directions. Serve with salad. Serve chili over Fritos chips if desired.
