Ingredients
Prep
- 1 onion
- 1 1/2 lb ground turkey
- 12 oz turkey gravy jar
- 5 C fresh sliced mushrooms
- 1 T dry onion soup mix
- 1 T cornstarch
On Cooking Day
- 2 T water
- 4 C vegetable broth
- 6 C salad greens
- 2 pkg frozen rice steamer
Instructions
To Assemble
- Slice onion. Add onion and next 3 ingredients to large zipper bag. Zip to seal and squish around to mix.
- Mix onion soup and cornstarch in a small bowl with lid.
To Cook
- Place chicken mixture in slow cooker on low for 7-8 hours.
- Add water to cornstarch and onion soup. Stir until dissolved then add to slow cooker. Mix well and cook an additional 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- Serve over rice and with side salad.
