Ingredients
Prep
- 1 lbs extra lean ground beef 90/10 or leaner
- 1/2 C frozen chopped onion
- 2 C frozen chopped bell peppers
- 14 oz fire roasted tomatoes
- 14 oz tomato sauce
- 1 t dried oregano
- 1 T minced garlic
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
On Cooking Day
- 2 C beef broth
- 2 bag steamers rice
Instructions
To Assemble
- Add all ingredients to large zipper bag. Squish to break up meat.
To Cook
- Slow Cooker: Pour contents of zipper bag along with beef broth into slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours. Stir well to break up beef.
- Instant Pot: Pour contents of bag along with beef broth into IP. Cook 20 minutes and release pressure. Mix well to break up beef
- Cook rice according to package directions. Serve soup with rice.
