Ingredients
Prep
- 1 lb extra lean ground beef 90% or better
- 15 oz kidney beans
- 16 oz tomato sauce
- 1 C frozen chopped onion
- 1 T minced garlic
- 1 1/2 T chili powder
- 1 1/2 t cumin
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1 t onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
- 2 1/2 C water
- 8 oz spaghetti noodles
- 1 pkg garlic bread
- 1 1/2 C shredded cheddar cheese
- 10 C salad greens
Instructions
To Assemble
- Add all ingredients to a large zipper bag. Zip and squish to break up the meat.
To Cook
- Pour meat mixture into slow cooker along with water. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. Use a potato masher to break up meat if needed.
- Boil spaghetti noodles as directed on package. Serve chili over noodles with shredded cheese along side salad and garlic bread.
