Ingredients
Prep
- 1/2 lb Ground Chorizo Sausage cooked
- 20 oz can black beans
- 8 oz canned great northern beans
- 10 oz can diced tomatoes
- 10 oz frozen corn
- 10 oz salsa verde
- 1 t chili powder
- 1 t ground cumin
- 1 t minced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
- 2/3 C water
- 6 C salad greens
Instructions
To Assemble
- Remove casing from chorizo to a large zipper bag. Add all remaining ingredients to the same bag. Zip to seal and squish to break up the meat.
To Cook
- Pour meat mixture into slow cooker along with water. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. Use a potato masher to break up meat if needed.
- Serve chili with side salad.
