Ingredients
Prep
- 5 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 1/2 C BBQ sauce
- 2 C tomato sauce
On Cooking Day
- 3/4 C chicken broth or water
- 8 oz spaghetti noodles
- 1 loaf garlic bread
- 10 C salad greens
- 2 C shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
To Assemble
- Add all ingredients to a large zipper bag. Zip and mix.
To Cook
- Pour chicken mixture into slow cooker along with broth. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Remove chicken, shred and keep warm. Do not return to slow cooker yet.
- Break spaghetti noodles into small pieces and add to slow cooker. Mix well and cook on high 15-20 minutes or until desired doneness. Return chicken to pot and mix in shredded cheese before serving.
- Instant Pot: Pour chicken mixture and chicken broth into IP. Cook for 7 minutes, then use natural release for 10 minutes. Remove chicken, break up spaghetti noodles and cook on saute for 8 minutes, or until al dente. Shred chicken and add back in, along with cheese.
- Serve with salad and garlic bread.
