Slow Cooked BBQ Chicken Spaghetti – F
salad and garlic bread

Ingredients

Prep
  • 5 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 1/2 C BBQ sauce
  • 2 C tomato sauce
On Cooking Day
  • 3/4 C chicken broth or water
  • 8 oz spaghetti noodles
  • 1 loaf garlic bread
  • 10 C salad greens
  • 2 C shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Add all ingredients to a large zipper bag. Zip and mix.
To Cook
  1. Pour chicken mixture into slow cooker along with broth. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  2. Remove chicken, shred and keep warm. Do not return to slow cooker yet.
  3. Break spaghetti noodles into small pieces and add to slow cooker. Mix well and cook on high 15-20 minutes or until desired doneness. Return chicken to pot and mix in shredded cheese before serving.
  4. Instant Pot: Pour chicken mixture and chicken broth into IP. Cook for 7 minutes, then use natural release for 10 minutes. Remove chicken, break up spaghetti noodles and cook on saute for 8 minutes, or until al dente. Shred chicken and add back in, along with cheese.
  5. Serve with salad and garlic bread.
