Ingredients
Prep
- 2 bell peppers green
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 C frozen onion
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T cornstarch
- 2 T water
- salt and pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
- 10.5 oz can french onion soup
- 10 C salad greens
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1/3 lb shredded Italian cheese blend
Instructions
To Assemble
- Chop peppers and add to a large zipper bag with next 4 ingredients. Place cornstarch and water in a small bowl with lid.
To Cook
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Cook beef mixture in a pot until brown and veggies are soft. Remove meat from pan. Stir french onion soup in the empty pan and cook for 3 minutes.
- Whisk in cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened slightly. Mix in meat, noodles, and cheese and stir until cheese is melted.
