Philly Cheesesteak Pasta – CE

Ingredients

Prep
  • 2 bell peppers green
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 C frozen onion
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 2 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • 2 T water
  • salt and pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
  • 10.5 oz can french onion soup
  • 10 C salad greens
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1/3 lb shredded Italian cheese blend

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Chop peppers and add to a large zipper bag with next 4 ingredients. Place cornstarch and water in a small bowl with lid.
To Cook
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Cook beef mixture in a pot until brown and veggies are soft. Remove meat from pan. Stir french onion soup in the empty pan and cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Whisk in cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened slightly. Mix in meat, noodles, and cheese and stir until cheese is melted.
