Ingredients
Prep
- 1 1/2 lb baby potatoes yellow or red
- 3 lb top sirloin steak or any cut of steak you like.
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms optional
- 1 onion optional
- 3 T olive oil
- 2 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1 t Dijon mustard
- 1 T minced garlic
- 1/2 t dried thyme or dried rosemary
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 6 20" x 20" foil squares
On Cooking Day
- 16 oz frozen green beans
Instructions
To Assemble
- Lay out foil squares. Cut potatoes in half (or quarter - see note) and place in large bowl. Trim fat off steak and cut into 2-inch pieces and add to bowl with potatoes. Slice onion if using along with mushrooms and add to bowl. Add in remaining 7 ingredients and gently stir to coat. **Note you want the potatoes and steak to be about the same size. If potatoes are too big after cutting in half, cut them again.
- Divide mixture into the center of each foil square.
- Fold up foil to make a “packet” like a tent leaving room for heat expansion.
- Store on small baking sheet in refrigerator to catch any leaks.
To Cook
- Bake in 425 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. Can also be grilled on outdoor grill for about 10-15 minutes. For a charred steak, after baking open packets and broil for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Cook green beans according to package directions.
