Ingredients
Prep
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage links
- 2 oz pepperoni slices
- 1 C frozen chopped onion
- 1 C frozen chopped bell peppers
- 4 oz sliced mushrooms
- 1 T Italian seasoning
- 2 T minced garlic
- 8 oz pizza sauce
On Cooking Day
- 4 C beef broth
- 8 oz dried shell pasta
- 1 1/2 C shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 pkg Texas Toast
Instructions
To Assemble
- Cut sausage links and pepperoni slices into bite size pieces and using kitchen scissors. Add to large zipper bag.
- Add remaining ingredients to same bag. Zip and seal.
To Cook
- Pour sausage mixture into slow cooker along with beef broth. Cook on low for 6 -7 hours. Turn to high and add pasta for 20 minutes or until desired doneness.
- Cook Texas toast according to package directions. Serve soup topped with cheese.
