Crunchy Italian Pork Chops - CE
Mashed potatoes, peas and green salad

Ingredients

Prep
  • 4 T butter melted
  • 1 C Parmesan cheese
  • 1 T Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 t garlic powder
  • 2 C panko bread crumbs or almond meal
  • 6 pork chops
On Cooking Day
  • 2 bag frozen mashed potato steamer
  • 16 oz frozen peas
  • 6 C salad greens

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Melt butter and mix it with next 3 ingredients in shallow bowl.
  2. Brush each pork chop with melted seasoned butter then dip into bread crumbs coating both sides.
  3. Place pork chops in a casserole dish sprayed with non stick spray. Sprinkle any leftover crumb mixture over chops. Cover with plastic wrap.
To Cook
  1. Bake pork chops uncovered in a 425 degree oven for 30 - 40 minutes or until no longer pink. Cook time will vary depending on thickness of meat.
  2. Cook mashed potatoes and peas according to package directions.
  3. Serve with green salad.

*bread crumbs may be omitted. Pork chops will be tender instead of crunchy.
