Ingredients
Prep
- 6 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 C chicken broth
- 1 C frozen onion
- 1 T minced garlic
- 1/4 C Dijon mustard
- 1/4 C fresh thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 C heavy whipping cream
- 2 T cornstarch
On Cooking Day
- 1 bag steamers mashed potatoes
- 16 oz frozen mixed vegetables
Instructions
To Assemble
- Place first 7 ingredients in large zipper bag. Zip to seal and squish to mix.
- Mix cornstarch and whipping cream in a bowl with lid.
To Cook
- Place chicken mixture in slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours.
- Remove chicken and whisk together cream and cornstarch and add to the juices in the slow cooker. Serve over chicken.
- Cook vegetables and mashed potatoes according to package directions.
