In-n-Out burger is all the rage here in North Texas! We love it so much. That I decided to make an In-n-Out burger version for us to have at home. Who says eating healthy has to be plain and boring? Plus add in some family time hanging at home. Whats not to love about this heat healthier burger recipe? Exactly!!
Ingredients for an In-n-Out burger :
4-6 preformed burger patties (I used Jenni-O turkey just for healthier meal)
1 teaspoon of seasoning salt
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
Ohhh yes, that is all there is to this recipe. These are oh so simple and quick to fix!
Plus do not forget the In-n-Out “Secret Sauce”:
1/3 cup of light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons of ketchup
2 teaspoons of dill relish
1 teaspoon of mustard
¼ teaspoon of paprika
Yep. You read that right. That is all there is to the In-n-Out burger “secret sauce” so load it it up. Around here we say the more the merrier LOL….
To make ahead: The 5 Dinners way!!
Prepare just as if you were cooking the burgers the same day.
Sprinkle each patty with seasoning salt and Worcestershire sauce.
Store in large container with lid. Use wax paper between layers.
Mix last 5 ingredients in small container with lid.
Store your secret sauce in the refrigerator right along with the burgers.
Cooking Day: Now or Later. Your choice.
Grill burgers on indoor grill or brown in skillet. Simple as that.
Eat them now? Why not!!
If you can not wait and want to eat them now. Just fire of the grill and get to grilling. If you do not have access to an outdoor grill, try out the George Foreman Indoor Grill.
Those little grills are just wonderful. We use ours all the time during extreme weather.
Not only the Texas heat during the summer is unbearable but thunderstorms are a plenty in our area too. Heavy rains can come out of now where.
Though sometimes we are on the go and do not have a lot of time to fire up the grill. We just plug in the GFG and there you have it. Dinner is done.
But hey, if you do not have a George Foreman just yet. Grab a skillet and fry up the patties. Just like In-n-Out does. These are a no mess-up recipes.
