Yes, you can cook ground beef in the slow cooker and no, it isn’t all greasy. I used 90/10 meat and helloooo, on the stove top it cooks in the fat in the pan too so be open minded here :) I strained it before plating and it was DEELISHH! Of course this is the prep ahead version and it is kinda key in this recipe because you need to smash the meat around in the bag with the sauce to help mix it well. It will cook better that way.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 C frozen chopped onion
- 1 can mild enchilada sauce
- 1 package hamburger
- 1 C shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can mild enchilada sauce
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to large zipper bag. Zip and squish to mix.
- Add meat mixture to slow cooker. Mix well and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Serve on hamburger buns topped with cheese and more sauce with chips and salsa on the side.
