Ingredients
Prep
- 1 1/2 lb extra lean ground beef
- 1 C frozen chopped onions
- 1/2 C frozen chopped bell peppers
- 1 T minced garlic
- 15 oz tomato sauce
- 2 T chipotle in adobo
- 1 t oregano
- 2 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 C ketchup
- 1 T lime juice
- salt and pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
- 2 avocados optional
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 1/2 C salsa
- 10 C salad greens
- 6 hamburger buns
Instructions
To Assemble
- Add first 3 ingredients to large zipper bag. Zip and squish to mix.
- Add remaining ingredients to a small bowl with lid.
To Cook
- Brown meat mixture in a skillet and drain fat. Return to pan and add sauce mix. Simmer 5-8 minutes for flavors to blend.
- Serve on hamburger buns with smashed avocado, chips, salsa and salad.
