Slow Cooker Herb Turkey and Gravy - C

Ingredients

Prep
  • 6 boneless turkey breasts
  • 1 t paprika
  • 1 t dried thyme
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 T minced garlic
  • 1/2 C frozen chopped onions
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb fresh green beans
  • 2 t minced garlic
  • 1 T olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
  • 1 1/2 C chicken broth
  • 2 T cornstarch
  • 1 frozen mashed potato steamer

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Add first 7 ingredients to large zipper bag. Zip to seal and squish around to mix.
  2. In a separate large zipper bag, add remaining ingredients.
To Cook
  1. Add turkey mixture and chicken broth to slow cooker. Cook on low for 4 hours.
  2. During last 30 minutes, mix cornstarch and some chicken broth from slow cooker, then stir in. Cook until thickened.
  3. For green beans, bake on sheet pan at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Cook mashed potatoes according to package directions.
