Ingredients

- 2 lb sweet potatoes
- 2 ham steaks
- 1 C frozen chopped onions
- 1/4 C butter
- 1 C chicken broth
- 1 C brown sugar
- 2 T honey
- 1 t dried thyme
- 1 t ground ginger
On Cooking Day
- 20 oz frozen green beans
Instructions
To Assemble
- Chop sweet potatoes into 2 inch cubes and add to large zipper bag.
- Chop ham steaks so they will fit in slow cooker and add to zipper bag with sweet potatoes and onion.
- Add last 6 ingredients in a small bowl with lid.
To Cook
- Pour ham and sweet potatoes into slow cooker. Warm butter mixture to melt butter and pour over ham and potatoes. Cook on low for 6 hours.
- Cook green beans according to package directions.
