Ingredients
Prep
- 2 lb fresh green beans
- 1 C frozen chopped onions
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 T minced garlic
- 1 pkg pre-cooked bacon
On Cooking Day
- 1 1/2 C chicken broth
Instructions
To Assemble
- Trim green beans and add to large zipper bag along with next 2 ingredients and 2 bacon slices. Reserve remaining bacon for cook day.
To Cook
- Add green bean mixture to slow cooker along with chicken broth. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Before serving, cook remaining bacon between paper towels in microwave until crispy.
- Transfer green beans to serving dish and top with crumbled crispy bacon.
