Ingredients
Prep
- 1 pound lean stew meat
- 1 C frozen chopped onion
- 3 cans canned diced tomatoes I used fire roasted
- 1/2 t oregano
- 1/2 t basil
- 2 ounces cream cheese optional
On Cooking Day
- 9 ounces cheese filled tortellini
- 1 C shredded mozzarella cheese
- 6 C salad greens
Instructions
To Assemble
- Add all ingredients to a large zipper bag and zip to seal or add all ingredients under "prep" to the slow cooker if cooking today.
To Cook
- Pour meat mixture into slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 4 hours.
- Add tortellini and cheese and mix well. Cook another 20-30 minutes on high.
- Serve with salad.
