Ingredients
Prep
- 2 celery rib
- 1 1/2 lb boneless chicken thighs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 T minced garlic
- 1/2 C frozen chopped onions
- 1 C frozen chopped carrots
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 t dried rosemary
On Cooking Day
- 32 oz chicken broth
- 3/4 C orzo pasta
- 1 1/2 t lemon juice
- 2 T chopped fresh parsley
- 6 dinner rolls
Instructions
To Assemble
- Dice celery. Add all ingredients into large zipper bag.
- Zip to seal and squish around to mix.
To Cook
- Add prepped ingredients and chicken broth to slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- Last 15 minutes of cook time, add orzo and lemon juice to slow cooker.
- Garnish with parsley. Serve with dinner rolls.
