Ingredients
Prep
- 2 bag frozen rice, peas & carrots steamer
- 1 deli roasted chicken
- 3 green onions
- 1/4 C water chestnuts optional
- 1/2 C hoison sauce
- 2 T soy sauce
- 1 T sesame oil
- 2 t minced ginger
- 1 T minced garlic
On Cooking Day
- 12 lettuce leaves
- 1 bag fortune cookies
Instructions
To Assemble
- Heat rice/peas/carrot steamer according to package directions. Pour into large container with lid.
- Shred chicken and dice green onion and water chestnuts. Add to large zipper bag.
- Mix next 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Pour 1/2 on chicken mixture and 1/2 over rice mixture. Mix both well.
To Cook
- Warm rice in microwave or skillet. Serve chicken mixture warm or cold in lettuce leaves.
- Serve with veggie rice and fortune cookies.
