Ingredients
Prep
- 1/4 C hot water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 3 T soy sauce
- 2 T brown sugar
- 1 lb rib eye or sirloin steak
- 1 T oil
- 2 T minced garlic
- 1 C shredded carrots
- 1 C diced onion
- 2 C broccoli florets
On Cooking Day
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 t sesame oil
- 1 bag frozen edamame
Instructions
To Assemble
- In a jar or small bowl with lid, dissolve beef bouillon cube in hot water. Add soy sauce and brown sugar; stir to combine.
- Slice steak into thin strips and add to a zipper bag. Add oil and minced garlic to steak.
- In a second zipper bag, add shredded carrots and diced onion. Cut broccoli florets into 1 1/2-2 inch pieces and add to the bag.
To Cook
- Cook spaghetti per package instructions.
- In a large skillet cook beef over medium high to high heat until golden brown. Remove beef from skillet.
- In the same skillet, saute vegetables for about 3 minutes, or until softened. Add beef back to skillet. Pour in sauce and allow to simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add drained spaghetti noodles and sesame oil to the skillet, and toss to combine. Prepare edamame per package instructions and serve.
