Ingredients
Prep
- 16 dinner rolls or 12 slider rolls cut in half
- 1 lb sliced deli ham
- 10 oz pimento cheese
- 1/4 C butter
- 1 t onion powder
- 1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T poppy seeds optional
On Cooking Day
- 1 bag potato chips
- 1 jar pickle spears
Instructions
To Assemble
- Line a 9 x 13 baking dish with bottom halves of dinner rolls. (They should fill the dish and fit snug.)
- Top each bottom half with ham. Spread pimento cheese on each top bun and place back on the bottom sandwiches.
- Add next 4 ingredients to a small microwave safe bowl with lid. Cover and refrigerate.
To Cook
- Uncover sandwiches. Warm sauce in microwave until butter is melted. Mix well and brush over sandwiches with pastry brush.
- Bake covered with foil in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. Uncover and bake additional 5 - 10 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
- Serve with chips and pickle spears.
