Asian Beef Salad - CE
Dinner rolls and salad

Ingredients

Prep
  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steak
  • 1/4 C olive oil
  • 1/4 C rice vinegar
  • 2 T minced garlic
  • 3 T liquid aminos or soy sauce
  • 3 T honey
  • pinch red pepper flakes optional
  • 4 green onion
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 C grape tomatoes
On Cooking Day
  • 1 pkg dinner rolls
  • 12 C salad greens

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Place first 7 ingredients in large zipper bag. Zip to seal and squish around to mix.
  2. Chop green onions and red onion then place in another large zipper bag with tomatoes. Zip to seal.
To Cook
  1. Place steak on baking sheet and broil each side 3-4 minutes or grill on indoor or an outdoor grill (until desired doneness). Let steak rest for a few minutes, then cut into slices (against the grain).
  2. Pour marinade into a saucepan. Bring marinade to a boil for 2 minutes and remove from heat.
  3. Toss salad greens with onions and tomatoes. Top with sliced steak and use cooked marinade as a warm salad dressing.
