Slow Cooker Turkey Breast - CE
potatoes, cranberry sauce and salad

Ingredients

Prep
  • 1 t paprika
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/2 t dried thyme
  • 1/2 t dried rosemary
  • 1/2 t pepper
On Cooking Day
  • 6 lb bone-in turkey breast thawed, skin removed if desired.
  • 1 1/2 lbs baby new potatoes
  • 6 C salad greens
  • 16 oz frozen green beans
  • 1 can whole cranberry sauce optional

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl with lid.
To Cook
  1. Add new potatoes to bottom of slow cooker.
  2. Place turkey on top of potatoes and sprinkle with seasoning.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. * For crispy skin, transfer turkey breast to a broiler safe baking sheet lined with foil and place under broiler for 5-6 minutes until skin is crispy. Keep a close eye on it checking every couple of minutes so skin doesn't burn. Let turkey rest 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  4. Cook green beans according to package directions.
  5. Serve with salad greens, potatoes and cranberry sauce. *Potatoes may also be mashed.
