Ingredients
Prep
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 T minced garlic
- 2 t basil
- 1 t onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 C crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
On Cooking Day
- 6 C salad greens
- 16 oz frozen Brussels sprouts
- 1 pkg hamburger buns or lettuce wrap
Instructions
To Assemble
- Combine all ingredients except cheese in medium bowl with your hands, using gloves if you’d prefer.
- Pat out 8 - 12 thin burgers, keeping them separate. Divide the cheese among half of the patties and place it in the middle of the patty.
- Place a patty on top of the cheese-covered patty and pinch the edges of the 2 patties closed. Store in a plastic container with a lid, separating the layers with waxed paper.
To Cook
- Cook burgers on indoor or outdoor grill.
- Serve on a hamburger bun or in lettuce leaves. Top with lettuce, tomato and onion.
- Prepare broccoli according to package directions.
- Serve with green salad.

Ingredients
- 1 pork spareribs a rack or two
- 1 bottle BBQ sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Cut ribs rack in half to fit into slow cooker. Place half rack in slow cooker. Layer with sauce, repeat.
- Cook on low for 5-6 hours.
- Serve with more sauce if desired.
