Crispy Romano Chicken with Creamy Spaghetti Sauce - C
Spaghetti, garlic bread, salad

Ingredients

Prep
  • 2 C fresh grated Romano cheese
  • 1 C panko bread crumbs
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 C fresh basil
  • 24 oz jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 C half & half
On Cooking Day
  • 6 boneless chicken cutlets
  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 6 garlic bread sticks
  • 6 C salad greens

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. In a large zipper bag or bowl with lid, add first 4 ingredients.
  2. Chop basil and add to medium container with lid with remaining ingredients. Stir to mix.
To Cook
  1. Add chicken to bread crumb bag, shake to coat.
  2. Bake chicken on baking sheet at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. For crispier chicken, spray the chicken with non-stick spray just before putting it in the oven.
  3. Cook spaghetti and garlic bread according to package directions.
  4. Heat up sauce and serve with chicken and spaghetti.
  5. Serve with salad.
