Crab Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Shrimp - C

Ingredients

Prep
  • 1 1/2 lbs large raw shrimp peeled
  • 2 pre-made crab cakes
  • 1 lb bacon
On Cooking Day
  • 2 bag frozen brown rice steamers
  • 8 C salad greens

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Cut bacon into thirds.
  2. Pinch off about 2 teaspoons of crab cake for each shrimp.
  3. Wrap each shrimp and crab with bacon. Push toothpick through bacon to hold together. Store in large container with lid using wax paper between layers.
To Cook
  1. Place shrimp on large baking sheet sprayed with non stick spray in single layer. (use wire rack if you have one) Bake at 450 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes until bacon is crisp and shrimp is cooked.
  2. Cook rice according to package directions.

* crab cakes can be found in the meat/seafood counter.  canned crab may be used if crab cakes cannot be found.
