Ingredients

Prep
  • 6 onions
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 T Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 t minced garlic
  • 6 12 x 24" foil squares
On Cooking Day
  • 6 C green salad

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Cut both ends off of the onions. Remove the onion skins, and cut each in half horizontally. Remove all but about 1/2 inch of the interior of each onion.
  2. Finely dice half of the interior of the onions and add them to a large bowl. Add the next 4 ingredients to the bowl and mix to combine.
  3. Generously stuff half of each onion, and top with the other half. Wrap each onion in foil and store in a large container.
To Cook
  1. Place wrapped onions on a baking sheet. Bake at 425 for 30-40 minutes, or until beef is cooked through. Serve with a green salad.
