Baked Creamy Garlic Chicken and Veggies - C

Ingredients

Prep
  • 2 lb boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 t garlic powder
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts drained
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 C milk
  • 1 T minced garlic
  • 1/2 t dried thyme
  • 1/2 t dried parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 16 oz frozen mixed vegetables
On Cooking Day
  • 1 pkg dinner rolls
  • 10 C salad greens
  • 1 bag egg noodles

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Cut chicken into to bite size pieces and place in large bowl with next 8 ingredients and mix. Then add in frozen vegetables.
  2. In a baking dish sprayed with non stick spray, add contents of bowl and cover with foil.
To Cook
  1. Bake covered in a 400 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is cooked thoroughly, stirring halfway through.
  2. Cook egg noodles per package directions.
  3. Serve over egg noodles along with a salad and dinner rolls.

Instead of egg noodles, serve over warm large biscuits!
