Tuna Noodle Casserole – C

Ingredients

Prep
  • 21 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 C milk
  • 1 t garlic pepper seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 15 oz canned tuna in water
  • 1/2 C frozen chopped carrots
  • 1/2 C frozen chopped onion
  • 24 oz egg noodles prepared
  • 2 C shredded cheddar cheese
  • cooking spray
On Cooking Day
  • 3 C potato chips
  • 2 pkg frozen broccoli and cauliflower

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Add the first 4 ingredients to a large bowl and whisk to combine.
  2. Dice the celery, drain the tuna, and add them to the bowl. Add the next 3 ingredients to the bowl and gently stir to combine.
  3. Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray and pour the mixture into the dish. Sprinkle with cheese, and cover with foil.
To Cook
  1. Bake, covered, at 350 for 20-30 minutes or until warmed through. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  2. Break up potato chips and add to the top of the casserole. Broil until the chips begin to brown slightly, about 30-90 seconds. Watch closely, this happens quickly.
  3. Prepare the broccoli and cauliflower per package instructions, and serve.
