Thai Turkey Burgers – CE

Ingredients

Prep
  • 1/2 C creamy peanut butter or nut butter
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 2 T Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 T lime juice
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/2 red onion
On Cooking Day
  • 6 turkey burgers raw
  • 6 whole wheat hamburger buns
  • 16 oz frozen sweet potato fries
  • 2 T freshly chopped basil
  • 2 T freshly chopped cilantro
  • 1 T mint

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Mix first 4 ingredients in a small bowl with a lid. This will be the sauce you serve on the burgers.
  2. Thinly slice cucumber and red onions. Place in a small container with a lid or small zipper bag.
To Cook
  1. Grill burgers on indoor or outdoor grill. While burgers are cooking, cook sweet potato fries according to package directions.
  2. Toss fresh herbs with sliced cucumbers and onion. Serve burgers topped with sauce and sliced cucumber mixture.
  3. Serve with sweet potato fries.
