Slow Cooker Frito Pie – B

Ingredients

Prep
  • 2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 C frozen chopped onions
  • 1 T minced garlic
  • 30 oz canned chili beans
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 15 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • 1 T chili powder
  • 2 t cumin
On Cooking Day
  • 1 bag fritos corn chips
  • 2 C shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 C sour cream
  • 2 avocados

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Add all ingredients to large zipper bag (do not drain beans).
  2. Zip to seal and squish around to mix.
To Cook
  1. Add prepped ingredients to slow cooker. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  2. Break up ground beef. Scoop mixture into each bowl and top with a dollop of sour cream and Fritos.
  3. Serve with sliced avocado.
