Slow Cooker Cranberry Turkey Breast – C

Ingredients

Prep
  • 5 lb boneless turkey breast
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 1 pkg dry onion soup mix
  • 14 oz can whole cranberry sauce
On Cooking Day
  • 1/2 C orange juice
  • 2 pkg frozen mashed potato steamer
  • 2 pkg frozen green beans
  • 1 T corn starch
  • 1 T cold water

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Add the first five ingredients to a large zipper bag, and toss to coat.
To Cook
  1. Put the contents of the turkey bag in a slow cooker. Add orange juice, and cook on low for 5-7 hours.
  2. Prepare mashed potatoes and green beans per package instructions.
  3. Remove the turkey, and spoon grease off of the top of the juices left in the slow cooker. Pour the remaining juices into a sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium high heat.
  4. Once juices are boiling, combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the juices, lower to medium heat, and whisk for 1-2 minutes, or until gravy begins to thicken slightly. Serve turkey with gravy, green beans and mashed potatoes.
