Slow Cooker Cowboy Stew – C

Ingredients

Prep
  • 1/2 lb gold potatoes
  • 12 oz smoked sausage
  • 1 lb extra lean ground beef
  • 30 oz baked beans
  • 1 1/2 C frozen corn
  • 15 oz can diced tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 C frozen chopped onion
On Cooking Day
  • 1 C water
  • 1/3 C real bacon bits
  • 6 C salad greens

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Slice sausage.
  2. Add all ingredients to large zipper bag. Zip to seal and squish around to mix.
To Cook
  1. Add prepped ingredients and water to slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 hours.
  2. Break up meat when done cooking. Garnish with bacon bits.
  3. Serve with side salad.
