Slow Cooked Turkey Chili – CE
green salad and corn chips

Ingredients

Prep
  • 15 oz can cannellini beans
  • 15 oz can black beans
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 C frozen onions
  • 1 T minced garlic
  • 7 oz can chopped green chilies
  • 1 T extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 T chili powder
  • 1/2 t dried thyme
  • 1 C salsa verde
  • salt and pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
  • 3 C chicken broth
  • 6 C green salad
  • 1 bag corn chips

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Drain and rinse the cannellini and black beans. Add beans and remaining ingredients to large zipper bag. Zip to seal and squish around to mix.
To Cook
  1. Place bag contents and broth in slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  2. Serve with corn chips and green salad.
