Slow Cooked Teriyaki Turkey Sliders – C
chips and salad

Ingredients

Prep
  • 3 lb bonesless turkey breast or chicken breast
  • 1/3 C brown sugar
  • 1/3 C reduced-sodium soy sauce or tamari
  • 1/8 C apple cider vinegar
  • 1 t dried ginger
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 1/2 t crushed red pepper flakes optional
On Cooking Day
  • 2 T cornstarch
  • 2 T water
  • 12 slider rolls
  • 8 C salad greens
  • 1 bag chips any kind

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Add all ingredients to large zipper bag. Zip and shake to mix.
To Cook
  1. Pour turkey mixture into slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours.
  2. Shred meat with two forks. Mix cornstarch and water and add to slow cooker. Cook on high 30 minutes.
  3. Serve turkey on slider buns with salad and chips.
