Slow Cooked Brisket and Potatoes – CE

Ingredients

Prep
  • 3 1/2 lb beef brisket trimmed
  • 2 lb baby red potatoes
  • 3 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 T Dijon mustard
  • 2 T balsamic vinegar
  • 2 C frozen chopped onions
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 2 T minced garlic
  • 1/2 t dried Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 oz sour cream
  • 1 1/2 t Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 t dried Italian seasoning
On Cooking Day
  • 20 oz frozen green beans

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Add brisket to large zipper bag and potatoes to another zipper bag and set aside.
  2. Mix next 8 ingredients in a small bowl and pour most of it over brisket and remaining over potatoes.
  3. Zip bags and shake to mix.
  4. Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl with lid.
To Cook
  1. Add brisket and potatoes to slow cooker and cook on low for 10-12 hours. Serve with sour cream sauce.
  2. Cook green beans according to package directions.
