Slow Cooked Asian Spiced Beef – CE
Sugar snap peas and brown rice

Ingredients

Prep
  • 2 lbs lean stew meat
  • 1 1/2 t Chinese 5 spice powder
  • 1 t ground ginger
  • 5 t minced garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 T lite soy sauce or liquid aminos
  • 2 T white wine vinegar
On Cooking Day
  • 2 bag frozen brown rice steamer
  • 16 oz frozen sugar snap peas

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Add all ingredients to a large zipper bag. Zip to seal and squish around to mix.
To Cook
  1. Pour beef mixture into slow cooker and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.
  2. Add snap peas to beef last 30 minutes of cook time.
  3. Cook rice according to package directions.
