Slow Baked Potato Soup – C

Ingredients

Prep
  • 1/2 C frozen chopped onions
  • 1 C milk
  • 3 T flour
On Cooking Day
  • 1 bag frozen hash browns
  • 1 C water
  • 32 ounce chicken broth
  • 1 C shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 C real bacon bits or cooked chopped bacon

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl with lid.
To Cook
  1. Add hash browns, water and broth to slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  3. Add milk/flour mixture, stir and cook 30 more minutes on high to thicken soup.
  4. Blend with blender if desired for a creamier soup. Top with cheese and bacon bits.
