Roasted Sausage and Potatoes – C
salad
  • 5 ingredient Slow Cooker, Classic
  • 5 ingredients, kid favorite, pork

Ingredients

Prep
  • 1 lb smoked sausage
  • 1 C frozen chopped onions
  • 5 baking potatoes
  • 2 T olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 t paprika
On Cooking Day
  • 1/2 C sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 C salad greens

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Slice sausage into one inch rounds and chop potatoes into bite size pieces. Add all ingredients to a zip lock bag and shake to mix.
To Cook
  1. Roast in oven 30-40 minutes at 400, stirring every 15 minutes or so, until the potatoes are golden brown and tender.
  2. Turn off the oven. Scatter the cheese over top of the cooked meat and potatoes, Pop back into the oven a few minutes to melt the cheese.
  3. Serve with salad.
