Reuben Sliders – C

Ingredients

Prep
  • 12 slider buns or hawaiian rolls
  • 16 oz sauerkraut canned or fresh
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 lb corned beef thinly sliced
  • 1 C shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 C thousand island dressing
  • 2 T butter softened
  • 2 t Dijon mustard
  • 1 t dried minced onion
  • 1 t caraway seeds optional
  • 1/2 t garlic powder
On Cooking Day
  • 1 pkg frozen french fries

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Place bun bottoms in a baking dish. Drain sauerkraut well and pat dry.
  2. Layer swiss cheese, sauerkraut, corned beef, and shredded cheese onto buns.
  3. Spread thousand island dressing to the underside of the each bun top and place onto sandwiches. Cover with foil.
  4. In a small bowl with a lid add remaining 5 ingredients.
To Cook
  1. Melt butter mixture and mix together until combined. Brush over top of the buns.
  2. Bake covered in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5-10 minutes.
  3. Cook french fries according to package directions.
