Portabella Parmesan – 5

Ingredients

  • 6 portabello mushroom large
  • 1 1/2 C marinara sauce
  • 3 t dried minced onion
  • 2 T minced garlic
  • 1 C shredded Italian cheese blend
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 C salad greens

Instructions

  1. Remove and chop mushroom stems and place in a bowl. Mix in sauce, onion, garlic, and salt and pepper. Stuff mixture evenly into each mushroom cap.
  2. Place mushroom caps in a baking dish sprinkle with cheese. Cook at 375 (covered) for 20 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Remove cover and cook about 5 additional minutes or until cheese begins to brown.
  3. Serve with salad.
